In order to determine whether you have a criminal record or not, various countries may require different certificates. This certificate can be a statement of expunged and/or removed convictions or a certificate of a person’s criminal record. Depending on the country for which you are preparing the certificate, you may need to obtain both or just one of them.
The United States always requires both certificates, while other countries may request one or the other. However, depending on the situation and requirements, they may ask for both.
These certificates must be certified with an apostille or legalization within 15 days of receipt, and their validity is up to 3 months.
On the territory of Georgia, these certificates are valid for 15 days.
