Our platform is a place where you can find high-quality services along with detailed information about criminal record certificates, conviction status certificates, and certificates of expunged convictions.

PCC is an abbreviation and refers to information about a person’s criminal record, conviction, or expunged criminal record.

PCC is a special certificate that contains information about a person’s criminal record, conviction, or expunged criminal record. This document is often used for various purposes, such as immigration, employment, or other administrative matters. PCC (Police Clearance Certificate) is usually issued by the police or law enforcement agencies. In Georgia it is issued By Ministry of internal affairs and we have: certificate of conviction, of condemnation and expunged conviction.

Types of PCC:

Criminal Record/conviction  Certificate

A criminal record certificate is an official document that confirms whether an individual has a criminal record. It is used for various purposes, including employment, visa applications, citizenship requests, or other legal procedures.

The certificate contains personal information, details about any criminal convictions, and whether the individual is wanted by law enforcement (confirmation or denial).

For use in international documents or procedures, the certificate can be authenticated with an Apostille.

The fee depends on the processing time. The certificate can be requested by Georgian citizens, foreign nationals, and permanent residents of Georgia.

Condemnation Status Certificate

A condemnation status certificate is an official document issued by a state authority (the Ministry of Internal Affairs Service Agency). It contains information about an individual’s criminal record and specifically confirms whether the person has committed any legal offenses.

The certificate details the years and legal articles under which the individual was convicted, regardless of whether the conviction has been expunged or removed.

This document is often required for positions where a clean criminal record is mandatory.

The certificate can be obtained through an authorized representative. In this case, a notarized power of attorney must be issued, allowing the representative to request and collect the document on your behalf.

For submission abroad, the certificate must be authenticated with an Apostille and translated, a process that can also be handled by the representative.

Certificate of Expunged and/or Removed Conviction

A certificate of expunged and/or removed conviction is an official document issued by a state authority (the Ministry of Internal Affairs Service Agency).

This certificate contains information regarding the individual’s expunged or removed conviction. Other details are not included in the certificate.

The certificate can be obtained through an authorized representative. In this case, a notarized power of attorney must be issued, allowing the representative to collect the document on your behalf, without your direct involvement.

For submission abroad, the certificate must be authenticated with an Apostille and translated, a process that can also be handled by the representative.

Difference Between Criminal Record Certificate, Conviction Status Certificate, and Certificate of Expunged and/or Removed Conviction

The Criminal Record Certificate, Conviction Status Certificate, and Certificate of Expunged and/or Removed Conviction differ in their content, purpose, processing times, and fees.

Since it is not possible to combine the information from these certificates into one unified document (as they can be requested separately), their content varies, indicating that the purposes for which they are requested also differ.

For example:
   •    A Criminal Record Certificate contains information about an individual’s criminal record and whether they are wanted by law enforcement (for the last 1.5-2 years).
   •    A Conviction Status Certificate provides older information about the specific years and legal articles under which the individual was convicted, regardless of whether the conviction has been expunged or removed.
   •    A Certificate of Expunged and/or Removed Conviction provides information specifically about whether a conviction has been expunged or removed.

Based on the specific requirements, government authorities in Georgia or other countries will inform you which certificate is necessary for submission, depending on their purpose.
